IOTA's address works like a concealed piggy bank.
You can save(deposit) your coins(IOTA's) into the piggy bank(address) any number of times. When you use those coins(IOTA's), you have to break open the piggy bank(IOTA address) and use required coins(IOTA's).
Since old piggy bank(address) is broken, You will require a new piggy bank(address) to save(deposit) your coins(IOTA's).
