i tried to use cli-wallet from this link https://github.com/iotaledger/cli-wallet and download the release version 0.5.4 to create wallet account in private tangle and encountered this error:

./wallet-linux new --node "http://localhost:14265/" --alias EXAMPLE
What's the stronghold password?: [hidden]
ERROR: `Node error: Couldn't get a result from any node`

i tried to curl the node and it's ok

  • Could it be cause of the trailing slash in your node URL? Also, is it ./wallet-linux or ./wallet ?
