We know that Bitcoin and Ethereum are storing their raw blocks as files in the system, and recording the recent states (utxo set in Bitcoin and world state in Ethereum) in leveldb. Is the storing procedure the same in IOTA, i.e, storing Tangle as files and utxo set as rocksdb? or rocksdb is storing both the Tangle and the utxo set?

  • iri was the node implementation for the old IOTA protocol (before Chrysalis network migration). Now there are two reference implementations, called Bee and Hornet. But I know for neither one how it stores data internally...
